My Quilt Came Today

I am so excited! My quilt from my swap partner came in the mail today. It is from Jodie, she is from NSW Australia and it is gorgeous. Thanks so much Jodie for my quilt and the beautiful card and the post card set. I would love to visit Australia some day. But until then I will look at my quilt and my postcards.

Four Season Quilt Swap 2007

It is finished! Here is the quilt that I made for ??? I mailed it off today. I really hope my partner likes it. I really wanted to keep it for myself. But I didn't. I also put in some extra surprises for her, but I will let her show that when she gets it.

New Quilt Project

I am so excited! My sister in law is expecting a baby girl in October after being told that she would not be able to have children. So I am making the crib set for her. It will include a quilt, dust ruffle, bumper pads, sheet and a small blankie that when the baby gets older can tote along with her.

My SIL requested pale yellow and purple with white. So I went today and purchased these fabrics. What a fun project.

Rachael's Quilt

Here is my new WIP. I finally decided that Rachael needs a cute quilt on her bed. I have had this fabric since before she was born. I used some of this for her nursury. And loved it so much that I am also using if for her room.

I got the inspiraton from this quilt.

I just hope that mine turns out just as cute.

Mom's Birthday Quilt

Here are some pictures of the scrap quilt/throw that I made for my mom for her birthday. It is made entirely from my stash. The inspiration for this quilt is a combination of this and this.

Four Seasons Quilt Swap
I am so excited to be invited to the four seasons quilt swap. I was just emailed today who my partner is and I can't wait to get started. Who is she??? I'll never tell( well until she gets my quilt)hehe. Don't ya just love surprises???
