AQB2 Block Finished

Here is the block that I made for Stephanie. She requested it to be the spiderweb block and then she sent us the fabrics. I think that this is going to be a fantastic quilt. I have had this block made for a few weeks but just barely mailed it out today. I hope that she likes it. Or better yet that her hubby likes it, because according to Stephanie the quilt is for him.

I Spy...

A sick girl under a brand new snuggly quilt.
Rachael helped pick out the i spy fabrics for this quilt out of my stash
and has been patiently waiting for me to finish it.

This quilt measures 55"x 66". And there is two of every block.
I got the inspiration for this quilt from Sarah, when she made this quilt.

Rachael went with me to pick the fabric for the back of her quilt.

She picked this happy striped flannel.

Here is the quilt all folded and snuggly looking.
This also gives me another finished project for March.
Have a great weekend. Off to take care of my sick sweetie pie.

Some March Finishes...

for the OPAM challenge. I am really liking this challenge because it is making me finish up projects that have been waiting to get done. Thanks Kris and May for hosting this.

an I spy quilt for my sweet girl (inspired by Sarah's i spy placemat).

It measures about 13.5x19

this is the back.
I just love the frogs and the polkadots together.

a bib for a trade out of my scraps

A wall hanging with a wonky log cabin as the focus. It measures 15x15.

This is going with some FQ's to Aimee.

Check back later this week for some more March finishes and a giveaway. Next week is my Birthday and I would like to give some lucky person a gift.

Four Seasons Quilt Swap Summer Quilt

I am really bad. I received a beautiful quilt from Julia for the summer edition of the FSQS the first part of July and am just now getting around to posting about it. But since our new addition I have been a little busy. Any way the quilt is just beautiful. It is more like a work of art than a quilt.

Thanks Julia for your beautiful work of art.

A Date with "Ginger and Amy".

I am so in love with these fabrics. It is a mix

of Amy Butler's Midwest Modern and Ginger Blossom but I also noticed a Kaffe Fassett print in there too. It is the 4th from the left. Anyway these little beauties (all 18 of them) are going into a quilt. I will post when finished.

Another quilt done

I finally finished the quilt for my newest niece. She was born on the 3rd of November. I just got it mailed out today along with her dust ruffle and her sheet. The bumper pads are still in progress.

I just love how this color combo turned out. The colors were requested by Rebecca my sister in law.

Off to a great start!

I just finished my first quilt of the new year. I t is actually a Christmas present for my mom and dad that I will be personally delivering to them on Saturday. I jusst love how it turned out.

The best part is that my mom doesn't know that we are coming, she also knows about the quilt but thinks that it is for my bed. Don't ya just love surprises??

Amanda at crazymomquilts has inspired me to finish more quilts this year. So far I am off to a great start.

Mom's Birthday Quilt

Here are some pictures of the scrap quilt/throw that I made for my mom for her birthday. It is made entirely from my stash. The inspiration for this quilt is a combination of this and this.
Thanks all you cool bloggers for such great tutorials.
